How to make a travel watercolour kit

Making your watercolours portable is pretty easy:

You can buy enamel watercolour tins that have spaces for either full pans, or half pans. The inside of the lid will serve as the palette and if it's big enough the centre can store your brushes.

You can then either buy half or full pan paints to put in it, or you can buy empty pan cases very cheaply and squeeze out paint from your existing tubes into them.

You can also buy a collapsable water pot for easy transporting. You'll also want to pack a bottle of water and some kitchen paper. And don't forget your sketchbook!
